The Member level provides you with voting rights and the ability to volunteer for Board positions, as well as free admission to special events. MATA Members must also hold an active membership with the American Art Therapy Association in a corresponding category.
Professional Member ($25/ year): available to those who have completed a Master’s degree in Art Therapy.
Retired Member ($15/ year): available to individuals over the age of 65 who no longer actively practice art therapy.
Student Member ($15/ year): available to individuals who are currently enrolled in an AATA approved art therapy program.
We also provide a “Friends” member category ($10/year). This affiliation is for those who wish to support the mission of MATA who may be of a different mental health background, or reside outside the state of Maryland. Please note that this level does not provide voting rights or the opportunity to hold office, and there may be a fee to for obtaining Continuing Education credits or attendance to certain special events.
All levels of affiliation are currently based on an anniversary year.
